Congratulations to AUS-ACA National Finalists MGC Show Choir from Melbourne Girls College! The girls delighted audiences with their qualifying performance at the VIC State Finals in May, where they performed with an energy that was hard to ignore!
They performed a set of two contemporary a cappella hits, opening with a cover of Pentatonix’s Daft Punk Medley and closing with the “Pool Mashup” from hit movie Pitch Perfect, which featured the songs “Just The Way You Are” (originally by Bruno Mars) and “Just A Dream” (originally performed by Nelly). It was a strong performance by the girls, with a warmth in the altos. It was great to see the girls performing contemporary repertoire and we look forward to their performance at the National Finals on September the 6th!
