Formed in 1996, Endeavour Harmony Chorus have spent the last 18 years sharing their love of singing and growing their membership (now over 90 singers) while taking female barbershop to new heights in Australia. In recognition of all their awards below you’ll probably feel inclined to clap your hands but first feel free to do a happy dance for the group that provided backing vocals for the original Happy Feet movie! Wow!
In the last 10 years Endeavour HC have produced amazing results including winning the Australasian Community Choir Championships (twice), reaching the finals in the ABC Classic FM Choir of the Year (2006) and have been crowned the Sweet Adelines National Barbershop Chorus Champions each time they’ve competed since 2006! As National Champions, Endeavour HC have represented Australia in the International Championship on three occasions, with their 2013 performance producing the highest scoring and placing (13th) for an Australian Chorus!
2013 was a stunning year for Endeavour with them also being crowned the AUS-ACA 2013 Video Competition – Community Division Champions, along with taking out the People’s Choice Award and winning the award for Best Barbershop Song. Their amazing AUS-ACA results saw Endeavour featured on International A Cappella Vlog Inside A Cappella! With all their success it’s clear that Endeavour Harmony Chorus can confidently lay claim to being Australia’s premier all female a cappella chorus!
